MISSISSAUGA AMATEUR RADIO CLUB on THURSDAY

Meets Thursday evenings: 2nd and 4th of the month at 7:30 p.m. except July and August in the Anglican Hall of St. Thomas a Becket Anglican Church.

The Mississauga Amateur Radio club (“MARC”) was founded in 1985 and is an organization, comprising amateur or “ham” radio operators.  We are a diverse club of approximately 80 members having various interests in radio and electronics. Visitors are always welcome.  MARC is involved in many undertakings including owning and operating a ham radio station, teaching licensing courses for those interested in obtaining their ham radio license and volunteering for a variety of public service events such as the MS Super Cities walk held every April, for example.  Persons interested in learning more about MARC can visit our website at www.marc.on.ca or drop in at one of the club meetings.
