The Tantallon-St. Margaret’s Bay ministry began worship services on September 12th, 2004 at the Crossroads Academy, French Village Station Road, Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia. We decided to move at the beginning of our third year to Walker’s Chapel, Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon – to facilitate visibility and enhance our program. Near the end of 2009, we decided to move to the Tantallon Seventh-day Adventist Church. We last met at 12494 Peggy’s Cove Rd, Tantallon, Nova Scotia.

    Welcome to Grace Church!
As the minister of Grace Presbyterian Church, I am glad to welcome you here and looking forward meeting you in person.
Are you looking for a church or people to ask your questions, to have prayer with you or for you? How is your family? How is your marriage? Are you alone?
Did your kids stray and you do not know what to do? Are you confused about life and its meaning? Are you too happy to care? Is God not for you?
But you are for God, and he is waiting for you! And we are looking forward welcoming you. You! We know people by names! And we would love to know you and to help you to know Jesus.
We are a New Church Development, and as such we are growing and developing, setting new ways of worship and learning about the needs of those who come to worship with us. Your creativity and exploration will be most welcomed. We are learning and developing together.
We would love to have you play an instrument during our worship service, to sing a song or to have you lead our Bible reading.
Just few things about what Presbyterian mean:
We are a Presbyterian church in Tantallon, affiliated with The Presbyterian Church in Canada: http://www.presbyterian.ca/
Our roots go back to the sixteenth century Protestant Reformation. At that time the major emphases of the Protestant or Reformed faith were established – the centrality of Jesus as Saviour and Lord, the importance of the Bible as our final authority for faith and life, and the giving of glory, not to what is human, but to God.
Presbyterians take their name from the Greek word in the New Testament for ‘elders’.
Elders are elected by our congregation to oversee congregational life. Individually, elders provide leadership and pastoral care by visiting members and adherents. All elders along with the Minister meet monthly as the Session.
Presently the Session has two program committees each made up of elders and members from the congregation: the Worship Committee and Outreach Committee.
We meet weekly for worship, singing hymns, praying and learning from God’s Holy Word. During the week we gather for Bible study and prayer. We have a support group for bereaved people. We celebrate monthly communion and we are supporting various local and international missions.
You will be made most welcome in our worshipping community!
Come and renew your strength in the presence of God, who is your loving Father, friend in Jesus and Counselor by his Holy Spirit!

    Love God and love People!

    Prayers and blessings,
    rev. Sara
