SCHEDULE OF YOUTH GROUP EVENTS

November - Laser Quest – will be Friday evening, date and cost to be announced soon.

December 4 - Living Bethlehem at Crieff Hills – 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. - come out to support our 3 shepherds – James, Karl V and Karl L - more information on the Crieff Hills website (www.crieffhills.com)

December 9, 2011 - Youth Group Christmas Party at 7:30 pm. Guest Speaker will be Walter MacNeil who speak about the Cambridge Firefighters Christmas Basket Fund. January - a visit with Sister Christine at the Welcome In Drop-In Centre for a tour of her facility and help out with some chores. http://www.ibvm.ca/works/justice/welcome-drop-in

February - the Youth will host a Spaghetti Supper either at the church or at Valens to raise funds for the youth retreat to be held in April/May at Crieff Hills. ‒ Winter sport event – to be decided, date to be announced, depending on the winter weather.

March - trip to the Westfield Heritage Village Maple Syrup Festival (Dates to be confirmed and announced)

April - trip to Gleaners in Camridge for a tour and perhaps to lend a hand http://www.ontariogleaners.org/

April/May - Youth Retreat – tentative date April 27 / 28 / 29 , to be confirmed ‒ to be held Crieff Hills  - estimated cost for accommodation only $700; ‒ may include a trip to Erbsville for go-carts.

June/July - Football game, hopefully Guelph Bears v. Cambridge Lions. June - - year-end event – Walking in the Trees/ Campfire at Crieff Hills.

Youth Group is open to grades 7 and up.

Knox Crieff Youth Group recently got together to hang around, literally in the trees.  We spent an enjoyable evening at Crieff Hill.  Thanks to Adventure Works for showing us “the ropes”!  Have a great summer and see you in the Fall.  Plans are to have Adventure Works Back and to go to Lazer Quest!
