The Board has bought new tables for the basement and is selling the old brown tables for $30.00 a piece. If you are interested in purchasing one, talk to Bill or Keith or a board member. ( the 8 foot ones are still available)
We are looking for some volunteers to be available for the nursery on Sunday mornings. If you are willing to take part in this ministry for our young people on a weekly or monthly basis, please speak with Rev. Sarah Thompson
June 1st to 3rd: Camp Kintail Retreat: Everyone is welcome to attend our congregational retreat at Camp Kintail. Registration forms are out. The Atwood Presbyterian Church will be attending this event with us this year. Please let Cheryl know by Sunday May 20 if you plan to attend.
Sunday, June 10: Camp Kintail “Run the Lane” Registration at 3:30 pm and Run at 4 Pm. Camp Kintail will be hosting a 3 km or a 5 km run for Camperships. This is to raise money so all children may be able to attend camp no matter what their financial situation is. Cheryl, Catharine and Anita Young, Tanya and Danielle Stewart will be participating. If you would like to donate they have pledge forms. Tax receipts will be given by Camp Kintail for any donation over $10.00. Everyone is welcome to come and run or walk for this cause. For more information talk to Cheryl.
Congratulations to Anita Young for being hired at Camp Kintail as Adventure Director for the upcoming season, and to Danielle Stewart and Catharine Young for being hired as camp counsellors. Our congregation is very proud of your accomplishments.
