The folks at Knox are saddened to say that In the early hours of this morning our friend George Fraser lost his battle with Parkinson’s. He will be missed both here in Boularderie and at Alderwood, his home for the past 2 years. George served on the Board of Manager’s and was the church treasurer for 48 years. He was ordained an Elder in our congregation in 1968 making it 50 years this year. He was also very active in his community of Southside Boularderie serving as a volunteer fireman for many years. He was a friend to all. “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been trustworthy in a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your Lord.” Matthew 25:21 . Our thought’s and prayers are with his sister, Mary Ryan, his brother’s Sandy and David, and all his family.

Sincere thanks go out to all those who supported the Food Bank by helping to re-stock the shelves. Through your generosity all the suggested needs were filled by donation. The next deadline is March 23rd and any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
