The details of the daily schedule change from year to year, but the general format has stayed the same. Click here for the Schedule for the week.
Before Breakfast
For those campers hardy enough to brave the waters of Duck Lake early, the polar bear swim is refreshing way to begin the day at the dock at 7:00 am. At 7:30 am you are invited to join others in a brief time of Morning Prayer.
Morning Worship
Following Breakfast each morning we have a time of worship. We begin with Holy Motion to get us up out of our seats and moving. This is followed by Music and a time of worship. Morning devotions introduce the daily theme in a very family friendly atmosphere. Devotions may involve singing, prayer, reflection and scripture centered on the theme of the day. Each devotion time will be a little different as there are several different groups and indivduals leading devotions during camp.
Workshops
Workshops are offered at various times during the day. Workshops are volunteer led and have focused on a variety of different instruments and skills. A few of the workshops we have offered in the past are: Beginner Ukulele, Salsa Dancing, Guitar Skills, Camp Choir, and Hand bells. The schedule and workshops change from year to year. Most workshops are five daily sessions, so plan to attend for the week. Remember that there is no upper age limit for beginners. If you don’t have an instrument, check with the workshop leader or ask around – someone will probably lend you one.
Evening Program
Evening Program begins with a time of worship and is followed by a camp activity. Two of the most popular evening programs have been Coffee House and Variety Night. These are great opportunities to share your talents with camp through song or other creative presentation.
Concert
On the last full day of camp all of the workshops present something they have been working on throughout the week. It is amazing how much you can learn in one week!
