Pastoral Care

The Ottawa Carleton District School Board has volunteer Pastoral Care Workers serving in many of the high schools.   The pastoral care worker’s regular weekly contact with
students, staff, and principals helps to establish an ongoing
relationship in the school.
They give moral and spiritual support in times of
crises or help deal with issues such as
those related to grief, suicide, substance abuse, peer pressure,
peer counseling, and parent–teen communication.

“In from the Cold”


Sign up to volunteer with an experienced team.

We will be pairing up with youth from a second congregation

and volunteering to help at the “In from the Cold” meal

during the winter months. Set aside a date…let us help your

youth serve.
