Dear Friends

Yesterday we held the funeral service for a long time member of St. Andrew’s, the late Agnes Lyon.  Agnes was involved in the life of our congregation, in many ways.  She had provided care for the infants in the nursery for twenty-five years.  She was an active member of the Women’s Auxiliary for many years.  She  sang in the  Choir.  She co-ordinated some fundraisers for the Accessibility Project.  Agnes was a great church worker, whom I will miss dearly.  Agnes was also a person of faith, trusting in her Lord, as she took one day at a time.  I am sure Agnes was welcomed home, with the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”  The sympathy of the congregation is extended to  her husband and family.

This Sunday at St. Andrew’s, our theme will be “In His Steps”, we will think about the mission that Jesus gave to his disciples, and ponder what about our ministry reflects the mission of Jesus today.

It will be Food Bank Sunday, where we will have the opportunity to share with people in our community in need.

The Bible Study on James continues on Thursday evenings during the month of June.

Each Sunday following worship, there is an opportunity to receive a blessing or to  share a prayer request.

Hope to see you Sunday.

Rev. Milton Fraser
