The Saint Andrew’s homes foundation project for a new seniors housing residence was approved by the city council at the meeting on August 16th. The site of the residence will be on the current Lutheran church property. (corner of Victoria and Clarke) The building will be four stories high, and will feature a cafeteria which will be in the center of the green roof.

July 12th to 16th – 10:00 a.m. to 3:15p.m – ages 5 to 12.

Volunteers needed for supervision and kitchen duties.  Also older children and adults would be very welcome as councillors.

Good Friday Walk

Over 200 people joined together for this year’s annual ecumenical Good Friday walk. Many thanks go out to all the organizers who made this event as successful as it was. The walk was a great testimony to the entire community.

Saint Andrew’s Lenten movie series continues with the screening of Gran Turino on Saturday, March 20th and Jesus of Montreal on the following Saturday, March 27th. Showtime is 7:00 PM and the movies will be projected onto the big screen. Admission is free, and there will be refreshments served as well as an opportunity to discuss the movies, specifically the Lenten themes they portray. Don’t miss out!
