Meet our staff

Rev. Kristine O’Brien, Minister

a114Rev. Kristine O’Brien B.A.(Hons), M. Div. was called to Trafalgar in the fall of 2002. Originally from Etobicoke, she studied at McMaster University (Music/English) and at the University of Toronto (Theology) before being ordained in Strathroy, Ontario. She ministered for five years before arriving in Oakville with her her husband Pat and their four children.

One of her passions is spending time in God’s beautiful world. This has led her to explore gardens as a source of rest, renewal and inspiration, while growing enough kale and zucchini to supply her entire neighbourhood! She often gives workshops on the connection between spirituality and gardening and writes a blog where she is known as the Blooming Reverend.

Rev. Kristine brings with her a passion for hospitality offered in the name of Jesus Christ. Welcoming those who are worshipping for the first time, encouraging strong community relationships, and making the Bible connect with everyday life are just some of the gifts she brings to ministry.
