The Presbytery of Vancouver Island is the western-most Presbytery within the Synod of British Columbia of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. There are thirteen churches within the Presbytery serving the Island in many capacities.

Vancouver Island is separated from the mainland of North America by the Salish Sea and lies across the Strait of Georgia from the City of Vancouver (which is within the Presbytery of Westminster). At 32,000 sq km (or 12, 355 sq mi), Vancouver Island is the largest island off North America in the Pacific Ocean.  While the island is 450 km (or 280 mi) long and 100 km (or 62 mi) wide, the coastline is 3,400 km (or 2,138 mi)  long due to the many fjords and inlets.

Vancouver Island has a population of approximately 700,000 people.  The capitol of British Columbia, Victoria, is located on the southern end of the Island.
