We are a group of people that believe a peaceful, just, compassionate and equitable future for all is possible. We promote events based on the common pillars of various faith traditions: non-violence, love, justice, compassion and equality through events like this one. We are based at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and partner post-secondary schools to provide events that speak to life’s big questions.
Our Mission
The purpose of about faith Orillia is to provide holistic care for students of all ages who are still discerning meaning, purpose and direction for their lives.
Our goals are threefold.
• Extend outreach to Lakehead University and Georgian College students, and other interested parties in the surrounding community;
• Introduce topics and extend conversations that promote the common pillars of faith traditions: non-violence, peace, equality, justice, love and compassion; and,
• Provide a safe place to question, discuss and build a relationship with God.
