Rosewood Residence Service<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Rosewood Service will be Thursday, May 28th at 1:30 pm. All are welcome to attend and help out with singing while visiting with the residents.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
Glasgow Road AMS Collections<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Glasgow Road AMS is collecting paper products (toilet and facial tissue) for Gifts From the Heart.<\/span><\/div>\n
Any donations can be dropped off at Glasgow Road church.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
Visibility Ideas<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n
After the Annual Meetings we talked about projects the charge could carry out as fundraisers and to raise visibility in the community.<\/span><\/div>\n
Some suggestions that have been made are:<\/span><\/div>\n
– Host a quilt show in co-operation with a quilting group<\/span><\/div>\n
– A tea (possibly in conjunction with the quilt show)<\/span><\/div>\n
– A presentation of the history of the church buildings and surrounding communities<\/span><\/div>\n
– A craft sale<\/span><\/div>\n
It has also been suggested that we might work in partnership with another community group.<\/span><\/div>\n
We could have a special service in which we give thanks for and pray for the first responders, health care workers and teachers in our communities.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
Any and all ideas are welcome, and if you see how you might help with one of these projects, please let us know.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
