Glasgow Road AMS
\nGlasgow Road AMS will meet on Wednesday, June 10th at 1:30 p.m. at the church hall.
\nAll are welcome.<\/p>\n
Glasgow Road AMS Collections
\nGlasgow Road AMS is collecting paper products (toilet and facial tissue) for Gifts From the Heart.
\nAny donations can be dropped off at Glasgow Road church.<\/p>\n
Visibility Ideas
\nAfter the Annual Meetings we talked about projects the charge could carry out as fundraisers and to raise visibility in the community.
\nSome suggestions that have been made are:
\n– Host a quilt show in co-operation with a quilting group
\n– A tea (possibly in conjunction with the quilt show)
\n– A presentation of the history of the church buildings and surrounding communities
\n– A craft sale
\nIt has also been suggested that we might work in partnership with another community group.
\nWe could have a special service in which we give thanks for and pray for the first responders, health care workers and teachers in our communities.<\/p>\n
Any and all ideas are welcome, and if you see how you might help with one of these projects, please let us know.<\/p>\n
