Session
Our ruling elders are currently elected for life by the congregation who recognizes their spiritual gifts. Each elder has a district of members and adherents and they are responsible for their spiritual and pastoral care. The session meets monthly September to June and as needed. As a group, along with the minister (teaching elder) who moderates session, they make decisions concerning the congregation. As a group they are also responsible for the pastoral care of its members and adherents.
Clerk of Session
Our current clerk of session is Ruth Ann McVicar, a life long congregant. The clerk is responsible for the minutes of session meetings, to take charge of all session documents and to prepare and issue all extracts of minutes and papers authorized by the session.
Board of Managers
The management of the financial affairs of the congregation is entrusted to the board of managers. The members of the board are elected on a rotational basis by the congregation at it’s annual meeting and serve for 3 years. In addition the board looks after the physical care of the church, the manse and the property.
