Throughout the year, we worship each Sunday more periodically we have some special services.

Anniversary Service
Anniversaries are always a good time to celebrate, and we support one another’s special Sunday. In 2026 the Avonmore Congregation will celebrate their Anniversary on October 4th at 10:30. The Finch Congregation will celebrate their Anniversary on September 13th at 10:30.
Christmas Eve
The Christmas Eve service alternates between Finch (in 2027) and Avonmore (in 2026).
Good Friday
The congregations comes together to celebrate Good Friday in one of the church buildings. The 2026 Service will be held in Gravel Hill on April 3rd at 10:30 with Rev. Ian MacMillan.
Memorial Cemetery Services
Memorial services are held at the different cemeteries in the communities. Churches take turns as to which leads the worship.
– Finch Cemetery (Finch): Second Sunday in June at 2:00 p.m.
– Goldfield: Third Sunday in June at 2:00 p.m.
– Paul’s Hill (Avonmore):Fourth Sunday in June at 7:00 p.m. – Gravel Hill: Labour Day Weekend – Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
World Day of Prayer
Congregations in Finch come together to celebrate the World Day of Prayer. In 2024, St. Luke’s-Knox Presbyterian hosted the service. In 2026 the service was held at Chalmers United Church in Finch at 2 pm on March 6th
