Why pray?
Prayer is at the heart of Christian practice but, for many of us, prayer is something we tend to forget or ignore.
But Jesus tells us (Mt 18:20) that, where two or three are gathered in his name, he is there. Paul tells us in different passages (e.g., Eph. 6:18) that we are to pray for one another.
Prior to the pandemic, we were meeting Wednesday afternoons just before the Bible study. Now that many restrictions have been lifted we are re-thinking how and when we want to meet.
