Usually when calling a minister, congregations rely on God, their instincts, and whatever they could glean from resumes, interviews, and one sermon. In our case, we got to know Rev. Cheryl a lot more before calling her. She did occasional pulpit supply and was our Stated Supply Minister for a year!
She was formally inducted on a clear winter day in February. Thanks to all who worked to make the event a success – to the Presbytery of Seaway-Glengarry for all their preparations – to the readers from the congregations – to the joined choir – to everyone who prepared such delicious food – to the photographers – and to everyone who came to join in the celebrations!
