The original church structure, built in 1863, still stands, and has been well maintained over the years. Among the repairs, renovations and improvements:

- 1880 – The roof was repaired.
- 1897 – Renovations included raising the ceiling, plastering the walls, changing the pulpit’s location.
- 1905 – church pews were bought.
- 1907 – a house was bought and served as Manse until 1936 when it was sold.
- 1945 – electric lights were installed.
- 1963 – an infra-red radiant heating system was installed in memory of those who had worshipped there over the years.
- 1977 – steel siding was installed on the outside
- 2003 – the floor was repaired, aisle carpet replaced and interior repainted in time for 140th anniversary.
- 2012 – Metal siding was replaced with vinyl siding.
