The congregation of First Presbyterian Church comes from all walks of life and from nations around the world.
The present congregation is an amalgamation of two historic Winnipeg congregations. The original First congregation was formed in 1925, and moved into its new building on Picardy Place in 1927. St. James Presbyterian Church, originally formed in 1910, amalgamated with First on January 1, 2015.
