While our Church welcomed Roberto De Sandoli to our church as the summer student minister, alas, all good things must come to an end and Roberto has returned to Vancouver where he will be continuing his studies. He has left a lasting impression on all who heard him speak. Roberto was quick to tour the area and even took part in the Paddle for the Peace, a new experience as he had never been in a river boat before. He meet with members of the congregation and volunteered to help wherever he could. Needless to say, a void now exists for the congregation. We also had an opportunity to meet his wife Jayne. They celebrated their first anniversary at our joint service with St. James Church where we also had a great lunch and time of fellowship. We wish both Roberto and Jayne all the best and hope that at some point they will return to the north and visit with us. Our services have now returned to a 9:30 AM start time.
