Regular services were stopped in 1967 but two special services a year are held at Geddie. The trustees answer to the Presbytery of P.E.I. but receive no financial support.
The Church and bell tower have great historical and architectural importance. This church sent the first missionary from Canada to New Hebrides in 1845.
