About Us

imagesPresbyterianism in Stayner began long before the existing building  was erected.  The earliest worshipers met in a very rough building with fallen logs serving as seats.

On November 24, 1859 the congregation was formally organized by the Presbytery of Toronto and was a joint venture with Duntroon.  In 1872, Duntroon has broken off and Zion Presbyterian, Sunnidale Corners became part of the pastorate. Later East Nottawa joined the charge until the 1970s.  The East Nottawa building still remains as part of the charge though worship is not conducted there.   Jubilee, Stayner and Zion, Sunnidale Corners share a connection to this day.

Jubilee Presbyterian Church is a proud part of the Presbyterian Church in Canada and is connected to the the Presbytery of Barrie.

We are a church within the Reformed Tradition with appreciation for the work of Calvin and Luther, as well as some of their living contemporaries.

Worship service have a traditional, liturgical feel with Biblical messages in a expository (exposing the truth of the Word of God) style, presented by the Rev. Darren May who has been with the congregation since 2006.
