The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. Hosanna! Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord.
Jesus humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death – even death on a cross. Hosanna! Blessed is our King who comes in the name of the Lord.
Therefore, God has highly exalted him to the highest place and given him the name that is above every name. Hosanna! Blessed is our King who comes in the name of the Lord!
Let us give our God all glory and praise.
Let us worship the Lord!
Prayer of Adoration & Confession & The Lord’s Prayer Gracious, life-giving God, maker of all things visible and invisible, on the first day of the creation, you spoke and out of chaos you formed the universe, and out of shadows you formed light. On the first day of the week, Christ was resurrected by your grace, and out of death you brought life and offered it to all who call on your name. Today you come to us through your Holy Spirit, to shine light on our path, and to offer your gift of new life through Christ Jesus. Praise and honour and blessing be to you, O God, Creator, Christ and Holy Spirit, this day and every day, now and always.
“Our Father which art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
Benediction God’s word promises this to you: Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name, you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour. Go now into the rest of your life confident that the presence and the power and peace of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit will go with you always. Amen.
