Worship

Knox North Easthope is a place of sanctuary and hospitality. No one will be turned away from its open doors. All are welcome to take part in the public worship of God. Our Sunday morning Worship Service begins at 9:40 a.m.

Though its form is traditional, the Worship Service is contemporary in its content and relevance to daily life.

Worship is time spent in prayer and song, word and sacrament. There is usually a story for all ages. There are scripture readings and a sermon based on at least one of those readings. The sermon focuses the light cast by God’s word onto our lives and the world in which we live.

We usually celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the second Sunday in March, June, September and December, and on the first Sunday in October. The next Sacrament of Holy Communion will take place on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

The Anniversary Worship Service is held each year on the first Sunday in May at 11 a.m. Knox North Easthope Church is closed on the first Sunday in June so that the congregation can attend the Decoration Day Service at St Andrews.

We are also closed for the month of August.
