The first event was held on Sunday May 5 and had 24 participants meeting to the hike the Avon Trail near the farm of Gail Smith on Line 35. The hike, through bush, had lovely scenic terrain with lots of Trillium’s in bloom. Everyone enjoyed refreshments after the hike and we wish to thank Gail and her husband Tom for hosting our group. Thanks to Tom Hislop for organizing this event.
