Worship

Regular services take place Sundays at 11:00 am. Worship is a blend of traditional hymns and more contemporary music. We have a unique combination of piano, sax, guitar and organ to accompany our congregational praise. Special Worship experiences are offered for Advent, Christmas Eve, Shrove Tuesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

Our congregation is inclusive of all people, encouraging children and youth to participate in leadership. Each week the children lead the Psalm reading. Once a month there is an all ages worship that is inclusive of children and youth. This worship service includes Biblical Storytelling, drama and music to engage all God’s people. Sunday School and Nursery are available during worship on the other weeks of the month.

Communion
MWPC has an open table. This means that all baptized people of any part of the Christian church are welcome to partake in communion. Children are also included and receive special preparation in Sunday School to participate. Communion is served the first week of the month (October, December, February, June), Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. We offer both consecrated grape juice and wine.

Special Events Choir
The special events choir at MWPC sings a wide range of pieces many times throughout the year, most notably the Christmas/Advent and Easter seasons. They would welcome your participation. For more information about performances or practice times, please contact us at mwpreschurch@gmail.com.
