  1. Enjoyed the service and I have started filing them to listen to again. I find I am curious about a few things in the reading. It mentions all the wives except Haran’s. Haran dies before they leave and it is interesting when Terah, the father, dies he is buried in “Haran”. Why didn’t Nahor go? Plus I see from other stories that Egypt is a place of respite. Abram goes there because of famine. Joseph ends up there. Then his family goes there because of famine. Let’s not forget Moses. And then of course Joseph takes Jesus and Mary there to escape Herod. Egypt certainly had it’s appeal. Are there more escapes to Egypt?
