Thank you for your comments Marilyn. It’s become my conviction that part of the call of discipleship at this time in history is to look inward at the health of our own souls in regards to our relationship with God. It’s a time to meditate on and absorb what the psalmists called taking refuge in God.
Sorry I couldn’t attend the zoom service tonight but I did watch the video later. Thanks for your message this Christmas Eve. When Christ was born, the world too had been in turmoil. I wonder what God;s plan for us will be as we work our way through this pandemic and the other trials that so many endure every day.
I pray that Christ’s peace will be felt by many during a quieter Christmas for many this year.
