Rev. Thomas J.H. Kim was  the first interim moderator of Nigerian Presbyterian Church, Toronto as well as the pastor for University Presbyterian Church. His previous pastorate was in Surrey, BC where he served a congregation for 10 years. Thomas moved to become the pastor of University Presbyterian Church in October, 2005. He is married to Lydia and has three children: Joy, Jane, and Jubilee.  His wife Rev. Lydia Bae is the minister at Heart Lake Presbyterian Church in Brampton Ontario.

 Thomas sees his primary calling to equip others for ministry using his gifts in preaching and leadership, so the whole Body of Christ grows healthy and mature. Thomas received his BA in Intercultural Religious Studies & Linguistics from Trinity Western University in Langley, BC and his M. Div from Regent College, Vancouver, BC. He completed further studies at Vancouver School of Theology.
He enjoys hosting friends and family, playing sports, gardening, painting, traveling and eating together.
