The Profile of the Nigerian Presbyterian Church Toronto

INTRODUCTION: The Nigerian Presbyterian Church (NPC) Toronto church is a very special, family-friendly, lively, and multi-cultural community. Our membership is drawn from the Greater Toronto Area and its environs including Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Barrie, Ajax, and Hamilton. With the online platform people join our services from all over the world. You can be part of this global church.

CHURCH GROUPS: We have different groups in the church such as the Men’s Christian Association, Women’s Guild, Youth Group, Children’s Group, Praise Team, and Hospitality Team. Our activities include special thanksgiving services for each of the church groups, regular Sunday services, Bible studies, Children’s Sunday School, and visitation to members. The morale of members who attend regular church services is high, and there’s a real sense of excitement about our future.

SUNDAY SERVICES: Our Sunday services are currently held online due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. We have joint services with the University Presbyterian Church at 10:30 am on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. .

INTERIM MODERATOR: Our Interim Moderator is the Reverend Elias Morales.                     Rev. Elias Morales was appointed the Interim Moderator of the Nigerian Presbyterian Church Toronto in October 2019 after the departure of Rev. Thomas Kim.

Rev. Morales works at the Presbyterian Church in Canada and is the Minister of North Park Presbyterian Church. He lives in Mississauga. Originally from San Miguel, El Salvador, he is married to Cici Morales.
