“Eastminster, Edmonton is a very small congregation and our pulpit supply Ted Conford is our life line. He keeps us going and we bless him every day,” writes Joyce Beaton. Conford’s reach goes a little beyond Eastminster, it seems, all the way to Korea. He has provided a Canadian home to Korean students coming to Edmonton for English training. In exchange for some light housework the young people have room and board. Last year Conford spent a month in Korea, visiting some of his past wards, soaking up the local customs, food and language.
