As reported in the Sept. 2005 issue of the Record, Bridlewood, Toronto, has been fundraising for tsunami relief since February of last year. The Sri Lanka Tsunami Fishing Boat Project is now complete, the occasion marked by a $5,000 donation presented by clerk of session Jack Charleson to Rev. Ken Little, the Sri Lanka and South India Regional Director of Samaritan’s Purse last December. The funds will be used to purchase at least one boat, a motor and nets to enable an individual or family to resume their livelihood.
