Inspired by an article in last December’s Record, Olive Lewis got her friends at Alexandra, Brantford, Ont., to start making teddy bears for children in developing countries. She writes, “Teddies started to appear in the Sanctuary each Sunday. The choir loft is just beaming with teddy bears with arms lifted in praise. A few teddies can be found in the Narthex and East entrances as well. Some people who’ve never supported a mission project, are eager to add their talent to make a teddy or two.
