Kay Morrison, a member of St. John’s, Cresswell, Ont., certainly was not going to let something as minor as her motorized chair get in the way of participating in the annual local Santa Claus Parade. One can hear the angel choir: ‘Kay M with your wit so light, Won’t you lead our revival night?’
The Sunday School float was equally imaginative: It was a space theme: Christmas 3025. “The message of Jesus is timeless.” The float showed the Christmas story, with Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, Wise Men and animals and astronauts, all from the future, wearing self-containing breathing apparatus made with pop bottles, Styrofoam and swimming pool tubing.
