Fifty years ago the creation of the St. Lawrence Seaway and hydro projects inundated the villages of Aultsville, Farran’s Point and the hamlet of Woodlands. Those congregations joined to create St. Matthew’s, Ingleside, Ont., and in April pastor David Skinner was joined by guest speakers Rev. Wilfred Jarvis, Rev. Dr. Tom Gemmell and Rev. Dr. Floyd McPhee, all of whom have some connection to the congregation, to mark the anniversary.
