ENI – Prospects for children and the world’s poor hinge upon the success of the fight against poverty, a leader of the Church of Scotland has told British Prime Minister Gordon Brown in a letter calling on him to show “real leadership” in the anti-poverty fight.
“The potential of too many young peo-ple is destroyed simply because of the poverty in which they grow up,” said Rev. Ian Galloway, convenor of the church and society council of the Church of Scotland, in his letter to Brown.
