St. Timothy’s, Ajax, celebrated a combined Christmas pageant, choir chorale and congregational carol sing on December 13, with everyone involved. The star of the show was the Baby Jesus, Savannah Naidoo, accompanied by her parents, Mary (Lisa) and Joseph (Jeremie), who behaved admirably well, and after surveying the crowd for talent scouts, fell asleep. In lieu of live animals, there were two giraffes, one cow, three camels, one donkey and several tiny lambs. Our fallen angel, or rather the angel whose pink halo fell, was Frank Robinson. The drama which was narrated by the writer/director June Stevenson, had no speaking parts but lots of singing. Minster, the Rev. Dennis Cook, pronounced the benediction.
