St. Paul’s, Kemptville, Ont.

Following the worship service on Sunday March 28, the Church School students of St. Paul’s, Kemptville, Ont., held a Mission Luncheon. This Luncheon, consisting of hot soup, sandwiches, cookies, and fruit, was well attended by members of the congregation. The meal was prepared for and served by St. Paul’s young students. The Church School students were assisted by members of the Women’s Missionary Society plus other members of the congregation. The proceeds from the free will offering will support two projects that the students have studied. The first project is to help young Afghan girls receive better health care and an education. The second project is to help refugees, who land in Montreal, to become settled in Canada. In addition to these two projects the students continue a long tradition at St. Paul’s of supporting Mission Projects in our own community, such as the food bank and projects further afield, such as assistance for Haiti.
