I applaud your initiatives in gently helping Presbyterians to become acquainted with contemporary religious thinking.
Having first read the June Record, I suggest a follow-up to Patricia Dutcher-Wall’s brief survey God In Other Religions. Please ask her to write a response, as a Christian theologian, to the same questions she puts to her Jewish, Buddhist and Islamic colleagues with a foreword like her own from one of the other three.
Also worth following up is a question raised by Stephen Farris quoting Myers in his Pilgrims, Roosters …: “Will there be a new Protestant Reformation, a next Evangelical New Awakening”? A very big question but a short reflection. I am sure it would be helpfully thought-provoking to many readers, (perhaps even discussion from more than one person).
