From St. Andrew’s in Thorold, Ont., come three choral pieces:

Winds Through the Olive Trees by Winifred E. Rees, performed by the St. Andrew’s choir.

Is There Room for Me at the Manger? by Mary Kay Beall.

Still, Still, Still, a traditional German Christmas carol, as arranged by Norman Luboff and performed by a quartet.

Knox, Stratford, Ont. brings you selections from two groups: the senior choir, which director Suzanne Strahn describes as “a small, dedicated group of singers who enjoy everything from classic to contemporary anthems,” and Praise Explosion, a group of youth from grades seven and up, plus a few “adult mentors” who are young at heart.

The choir performs My Soul Rejoices from the Christmas cantata, Comfort and Joy by Pamela Martin and Lloyd Larson. Solo performed by Heather Hislop.

O Little Town of Bethlehem, arranged by Ralph Vaughan and with a descant by Thomas Armstrong.

Christmastime, a hit by Michael W. Smith and Joanna Carlson, performed by Praise Explosion.

Peace on Earth, written by Edmund Sears and put to music by Don Chapman.

From another St. Andrew’s, this one in Mooretown, Ont., comes a Christmas Peace Canon, performed by the choir under the direction of Marilyn Shaw. The piece, arranged by Jean Anne Shafferman, incorporates Dona Nobis Pacem and Silent Night.
