The Rev. Dr. J.H. (Hans) Kouwenberg (right) retired as Pastor of Calvin in August, leaving the congregation with a final sermon titled “Several Stories of Sort of Successful Succession.” The Rev. Blair Bertrand (left) arrived from Princeton, N.J. in Mid – August to take over for Pastor Hans in what is expected to be a successful succession, indeed.
