Laura Roy, Margaret Dawson, Jackie Behrend, Adela MacDonald, Margaret Mazurkewich and Lesley Bens have a mystery on their hands—and under their needles. Earlier this year, these six women finished a quilt that came to St. Andrew’s unfinished 25 years ago. The Women’s League of that time preserved and finished the cross – stitched quilt top, but they did not preserve the name of the woman who had begun it. Now that this piece of history has finally been quilted, bound and sold by silent auction, only one question remains: who was the mystery quilter?
