Rev. Kristine O’Brien, minister at Trafalgar, enjoyed a 12 – week sabbatical last summer. Much of her time was spent gardening, and when she returned in the fall, she hosted a sabbatical garden open house. Families from the congregation came to see what she had been growing. Kids pulled purple carrots, admired the enormous sunflowers and dug a whole lot of potatoes! A lemonade stand also helped raise money for Trafalgar’s summer BBQ program.
