Thirty women from several churches in and around Grande Prairie gathered at Forbes for a retreat titled “Faith Under Fire” last May. Hands Across the Table (HATT), a women’s group at Forbes, sponsored the retreat. Facilitator Donna Franklin led the women as they enjoyed fellowship, worship, prayer and music and learned how to maintain unshakable faith in difficult circumstances. Donna is a favourite visitor at Forbes, where she has led several other retreats in the past.
