The Order of Diaconal Ministries had a reason to celebrate at their 24th biennial council meeting at Crieff Hills this September. The meeting saw the unveiling of Rev. Joyce Davis’ book From the Bottom Up: A Story of Collegial Leadership. The book is a history of the Order of Diaconal Ministries and is dedicated to the hundreds of deaconesses and diaconal ministers who have served over the last century. The author, pictured here with a copy of her book, joined in the celebration.
