After 40 years as the bass-baritone soloist, David Brearley is retiring. He will, however, continue to sing as a volunteer member of the choir. During a morning service in July his church presented him with a certificate of accomplishment. Here the director of music, Thomas Annand, hands David the certificate which includes the verse,“Sing ye praises with understanding” (Psalm 47:7).
