Come close in these moments. Enter into our weariness where time hangs heavy around our hearts. Wash away the minutiae that leak poison into our souls. Guide us back toward your mystery that lifts us like the wings of morning sparrows. Immerse us in the clarity that love alone creates. Fill us with understanding that we are enough because you are our strength. Amen.
I love Ben Harper, he is an amazing musician. I think his work is prophetic. “Morning Yearning,” is a song that captures the desire for a new day, the hope for tomorrow. Here are a few lines from that song.

It is God who has created us, even the crying baby, with the desire for a new day, and sends the Irrepressible Spirit, to move us to action sanctifying our lives. When we are weary, God guides us back to the mystery that renews our energy and joy.
