Just like bonsai trees, fruit trees get pruned to give us the best results. Even the Bible advises us to cut off the branches that do not produce. However, not all trees are created to give us fruit. Some are created just to be admired and appreciated, and with the help of pruning shears—even more beautiful. If you do this on a small scale, you create a bonsai tree. Jesus would have loved it.
