Thursday, January 16, 2014 — Names of God

For some traditions, the practice of remembering God begins with the repetition of God’s names. The belief is that the chant that is sang through the mouth, is remembered by the heart and then dwells in the soul.

We begin by chanting the divine names and then they chant themselves and then the Divine chants through us.

Today, let us remember the presence of the Ancient of Days through this chant. Let us practice remembering until the self falls and only the Presence remains.
